This non-profit organization was created for dog show judges. Among other things, it advocates on behalf of dog show judges with the AKC and offers different kinds of education.

American Dog Show Judges has a video lending library devoted to specific breeds. However, they may be best known for their annual 'Advanced Institute' educational workshop. This week-long workshop provides a unique learning experience.

This is from their description of the Advanced Institute program: "This blend of independent study, class presentations and examinations, reinforced with same-day judging and critiquing practice is a very unique aspect of this program and helps to merge knowledge with an ability to judiciously apply breed priorities".
