A Pet Washing Machine
A washing machine for pets is the new addition to pet spas across the country. We know that good hygiene is as important for dogs as for humans. But, dog grooming is costly and is not always the favorite activity on your pet’s social calendar.
The pet washing machine is a hands free operation using an enclosed, see-through space where 37 nozzles spray water and soap, then rinse, and de-flea your pet. Washing is followed by a drying cycle of approximately 10 minutes. The hands-free pet washing machine operation is less expensive than more personal grooming of your dog. The concept was invented in Spain in 1993 and imported into the United States in 2000.
Automatic pet washing stations are now available in many grooming salons and expected to be available at some pet stores very soon. According to Pet Spa, the technology they developed for the Doggie Washing Machine consists of an enclosed Cabin with a patented system that washes, de-fleas and blow-dries dogs, cats and other small animals in less than 15 minutes.
In addition, using a precise dosage center the Cabin can deliver a variety of medications and chemicals at exact amounts and intervals. The combination of this precise dosage together with variable temperature controls and gradual hydro-muscular massage can help the veterinary doctor administer several different therapies.
